explore dance – Netzwerk Tanz für junges Publikum

Pop Up Feature - 09. & 10.07.2020 München
MaCoDE (HfMT Frankfurt) presentation 11.07.2020 Muffatwerk

The so called Pop Up pieces created for classrooms or the public space are easy to transport and to adapt. Therefore it is those pieces that can be presented in the condensed version of the actual festival. The heart of this two-day Pop Up Feature is the showcase, presenting works of Anna Konjetzky (MOVE MORE MORPH IT!), Ceren Oran (Fliegende Wörter) and the Munich debut of deufert&plischke (spinnen).

There will also be various mediation and conversation formats with international guests. Peggy Olislaegers, dramaturge and dance activist, will speak about rethinking codes and spatial structures within the pop up format. Dance journalist Dr. Elisabeth Nehring will speak about dance for young audiences in urban and rural areas and moderate a podium on the pop up format.

The Pop Up Feature will be presented both live and per stream. For registration please write to angelika.endres@fokustanz.de (don’t forget to mention your preferred mode of participation – live or via video)
